Arm-Impact
The load case model represents an impact loading to the arm in LS-DYNA for an impact velocity of 2.5 m/s (beta version). The setup was developed to validate a simplified multi-code model for muscle tissue under impact (Lanzl et al., IRCOBI 2021, https://www.ircobi.org/wordpress/downloads/irc21/pdf-files/2178.pdf). Soft tissue material models are based on the models developed within the OSCCAR EU project.
The FE arm model was developed in a contract work for Mercedes-Benz. It is provided by Mercedes-Benz for public use.
The final setup version in LS-DYNA and VPS as well as the experimental data of the respective volunteer experiments will be uploaded soon.
